Installed grease fittings in the nose wheel bushings.
Drilled pilot mounting holes in the battery box.
Drilled holes in the firewall for the fuel line, battery box, throttle cable, mixture cable and electrical penetration. Installed appropriate grommets.
For the steering cable penetration, I used a plastic plug with a #29 hole drilled in it for the cable to pass through. The outer part of the cap is captured by the pulley brackets. The #29 drill is only a few thousandths larger than the cable.
Fitted the firewall to the forward fuselage and installed steering pulleys and cowling brackets.
